Welcome to our website!

We are a friendly local church with lots going on and always keen to meet new people. It doesn’t matter who you are, what age you are, whether you have been to church before or what you may be going through. Jesus always welcomed people just as they were; we hope we can do the same! Come and join us and be part of our growing church family.

Make sure you check out the map showing exactly where we are. Paradise Road is very close to the town centre with lots of parking all around, but it can be hard to find for first time visitors.

We have plenty going on throughout the year. You can make new friends through our monthly men’s or ladies meals or find out about the Christian faith through groups like Alpha.

Why not join us this Sunday at 11am. We have a great band to lead worship, talks that aim to relate the Bible to real life and an enthusiastic children’s team for the kids. We serve tea and coffee afterward while the youngsters get on the pool table or air hockey. It’s absolutely true that church Ministers are always drinking tea. Join us for a cup soon!

We are a group of local people who meet together on Sundays and during the week to help and support one another, whether that means to grow in our faith or in other practical ways.

In modern society, belonging to a community where people have time for each other is increasingly important. We are keen to welcome all who come, whether they are Christians of long standing or those wishing to explore the Christian faith or simply seek help and support.

Our aim as a church we seek to promote the teachings of Jesus and to regularly take time in our busy lives to be still and seek to hear God’s voice through hearing his words to us in the Bible or through prayer.

Jesus called ordinary people to put faith into practice by becoming his followers or disciples. The word disciple means learner or student. We aim to be people who can learn to put faith into practice together by helping and learning from each other.

Our purpose reflects this aim: “Making disciples by sharing Christ’s love in word and deed.”
