A Family Service with Prize Giving for the Children followed by a picnic at the Lea Valley Park by Cheshunt Railway Station.
This years outing will be to Broadstairs, leaving at 9.00am and returning for 6.00pm at Waltham Abbey.
An outreach event inviting people into the Church for a BBQ, crafts and bouncy castle. the event will run from 12 - 4pm.
A chance to purchase some unique gifts early for Christmas and support people in developing countries. The sale runs from 10am - 2pm, refreshments will be available.
We are intending to run another Alpha Course this February & March (see the 'About Us' page). If you would like further information regarding what the Alpha Course entails or would like to come along, please contact Matthew Squire at pastor@wab.org.uk.
We organise a Scalextrics Event, roughly every other month on Saturday afternoons from 3.00 - 7.00pm. These are open to all ages. As well as the Scalextrics (original & digital), we have a Wii and a selection of computer racing games to try your hand at plus the Formula 1 challenge! The programme for 2010 is as follows: -
We organise regular badminton evenings at Epping Sports Centre, every Friday at 8.00pm. These are suitable for people of all ages and standards, a chance to join in some fun with friends.
The ladies meet for a meal on the third Tuesday of every month at the "Moon & the Cross" pub (Weatherspoons) next to Icelands in Waltham Cross. The dates for 2009 are as follows: -
