Celebrating 40 Years of the Cabbage Patch
Join us on Saturday 6 June, 1–6pm as we celebrate 40 wonderful years of the Cabbage Patch! Whether you’ve been part of the journey from the beginning or just dropped in along the way, this is a chance to reconnect, reminisce and honour the years of service, laughter and community.
We’ll have tea, cake, and plenty of time to catch up with old friends and new faces. Come share your stories, remember the good times, and help us mark this special milestone in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Everyone is welcome — we’d love to see you there!

Cabbage Patch is well known in Waltham Abbey having run continuously for the last 40 years!
A friendly, safe space for little ones – and their grown-ups too!
Cabbage Patch is our weekly parent and toddler group open to all parents, grandparents, carers and under-5s.
Whether you’re a new parent, juggling toddlers, or simply looking for somewhere to connect with others, you’re warmly invited to join us.
Each session is full of fun and discovery – with toys, crafts, singing, story time, and plenty of space for little ones to play, learn and explore. While the children enjoy themselves, adults can relax with a cuppa, make new friends, and share the ups and downs of life with little ones.
We believe in creating a welcoming, caring environment where everyone feels at home – no matter your background, beliefs or experience.
Cabbage Patch runs every Friday during term time, from 9.30am to 11.00am
Refreshments are provided for both children and adults.
If you would like to be put on the waiting list for Cabbage Patch, please contact: Carol or Derek at cabbagepatch@wab.org.uk
