My husband David and I moved to Waltham Abbey in 2013 after more than 40 years in Loughton where we were members of Loughton Methodist Church and brought up our three children .

We started coming to Waltham Abbey Baptist Church as it is the nearest non-conformist church to where we live in January 2014 and immediately knew it was our new Spiritual Home as we were made to feel so welcome. We became members in July 2017.

I have always worked in the Public Sector in paid or voluntary roles and found it very fulfilling. We both have helped at the Food Bank here in Waltham Abbey since it was started. I was one of the founding members of the Waltham Abbey U3A and I do Line Dancing with them and Family History and go to the Short Story Book Group. No time for long stories.

Among my other interests I enjoy walking in the forest or along the river, sewing, photography , gardening and seeing my grandchildren.
