Liz Ladlow

Deacon

I am married with 3 grown up children, all of whom came through WA Sunday School. I started coming to WABC when my eldest Stephanie was about 1 year old (she is 31 this year!), and we came to the Friday Mothers and Toddlers group ‘Cabbage Patch’. Since joining WABC  I have been baptised and have helped out as a Sunday School Teacher for about 15 years and a Deacon for 10 years.

I am a Primary school teacher teaching at Hereward Primary in Loughton. I specialise in PE, a subject about which I am passionate. I also play sports, in particular netball and badminton. My hobbies include walking, reading and playing cards. I love to ski!

Sunday Club

Since September 2016 I have taken the older group of children aged from approximately 10 to 14 years of age. We read stories from The Bible and discuss them at depth. Most Sundays will include an activity! The youngsters are quite competitive and enjoy activities where teams are necessary! We are often involved in crafts etc. in the lead up to significant dates in the life of the church i.e. Christmas, Easter, Remembrance Day, Mothers Day and our Summer Holiday Club at which many of the youngsters come and help.
